The Calgary premiere for the much anticipated Chasing The Yeti film went off with a bang. Even a snow storm wasn’t enough to deter the local bike community from gathering at the Palomino Smokehouse for a sold out show.
The premiere sold out all 120 tickets and raised over $2000.00 with proceeds going to the Moose Mountain Bike Trail Society (MMBTS). The Flannel Crew hype man Joey Reinhart got the crowd going with door prizes, a swag toss and MMBTS trail update.
The night was full of good times, high fives, and connecting the local bike community. A big thank-you to Pedal-Head/Ski Works for sponsoring the premiere, and to the Palomino for keeping the drinks cold and BBQ extra zesty.
The film took the smokehouse crowd on a journey to the adventures that lie beyond the realm of competitive mountain biking. A trio of world-renowned free riders on a journey to the Himalayas chasing new challenges and terrain.
With the riding season cut short by Mother Nature, this was the perfect event to bring the local community together before the looming winter hibernation.
Thank you to all that attended and continue to support such a great cause.
